Robert Swan speaks at TiE Boston event at Babson College
On October 21st evening, renowned Polar explorer Robert Swan spoke to a passionate audience about being the only person to have ever “walked” to both the North Pole and the South Pole.
He also spoke about his 2041 initiative (www.2041.com) – named after the year in which the re-negotiation of the moratorium of mining in Antartica comes up. He spoke about the Ebase and the Voyage for Cleaner Energy.
The entire event was a smashing success and was very well received. Robert Swan is a very inspirational person and a very moving, motivational and eloquent speaker. The people who attended were thrilled that they did make it to the event on a pretty gloomy fall evening in New England.
