Outsourcing – New Trends point to India

leave a comment »

In the past week, a couple of new events emerged, which should have some positive impact on the India based Outsourcing Industry.

  1. Thomas Friedman’s article about “The Dawn of E2K  in India” in which he eloquently outlines a potential outsourcing industry/business area in the making – programming, managing and monitoring environmental initiatives for companies and countries as the sceptre of Climate Change grips us all in the coming years and decades
  2. The story of the successful surgery on a 8 limbed girl  in Bangalore to get her to have a normal life, while heart warming, also showcased the fantastic talents and capabilities in the medical field in India. This could, should have  positive impact on the Medical Tourism Outsourcing area in India – which has had some success, but has not yet made it to the mainstream.

We are sure to hear more on both fronts in the days and months to come
